Product Description

The 40 gallon Peabody Gemini Cylindrical Tank Value-Pak bundles a Gemini dual containment tank with the lid, fittings and accessories that turn it into a working chemical feed station. Silver adds the pump pedestal, quick-connect fill, suction tube and a float level gauge, Gold adds a bottom drain and a hold-down restraint and swaps the float gauge for a level indicator, and Platinum adds leak detection and an electronic level sensor.

Measuring 22" diameter x 42.5" high, this Gemini Cylindrical Tank Value-Pak holds 40 gallons.

• 1" double-wall bulkhead bottom drain fitting, installed
• 1" HDPE half coupling
• Mini inverse level indicator with a 2" wide calibration board
• Non-code FiberRing restraint system

Platinum — Part No.: 293-34342

Everything in Gold except the 1" double-wall bulkhead bottom drain fitting, plus:

• 1" double-wall welded bottom drain fitting
• Interstitial leak detection sensor (alarm box sold separately)
• Submersible level sensor with display and 4-20 mA signal output, 24 VDC powered

MATERIAL SELECTION GUIDANCE

Linear polyethylene (LPE) is typically selected for general chemical and water storage; cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) where greater impact and stress-crack resistance is preferred; polypropylene (PPL) and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) for resin-specific chemistries. Choose based on chemical compatibility first: suitability depends on your specific chemical, its concentration and its temperature, and is the buyer's responsibility to verify before ordering. The specific gravity rating states the heaviest liquid the wall is designed to hold — a 1.5 wall up to about 12.5 lb per gallon, a 1.9 wall up to about 16 lb per gallon.

These are vented, atmospheric storage tanks. Not for pressurized or vacuum service.
