Custom Rotomolded Tanks: Production Runs

Custom rotomolded tanks are built in production runs from a mold made for your design. Runs start at 4 tanks, which suits upfitters, fleets, OEMs and anyone who builds the same tank again and again.

How a production run works

1. Send your drawing or sketch, the size, the fittings and how many tanks you need.
2. We review the design with the molder and quote the mold and the run.
3. The mold is built to your design. You buy it once, and it is used for every run you order.
4. A first tank is checked against your drawing before the run goes ahead.
5. The run is molded and shipped. Re-orders use the same mold, so they skip the mold cost.

Why the run size matters

The mold is a one-time cost. Spread over a single run of 4 tanks, it is a large share of each tank's price. Spread over every run you re-order, it becomes a small one. That is why custom molding pays off when you plan to order the same tank again. If you need one or two tanks, a stock tank is almost always the faster and lower-cost choice.
