The Pioneer XLR 15/2 is a 20,000 gallon class corrugated steel water storage tank engineered for rural and ranch properties, rainwater harvesting, livestock operations, and well water storage. With a nominal capacity of 20,243 US gallons in a low profile 22 ft diameter footprint, it delivers serious storage capacity while staying easy to site, fill, and maintain.

Unlike conventional corrugated tanks built from repurposed roofing sheet, every Pioneer tank wall is rolled into the patented PIONEER V-LOCK® panel profile. The V-LOCK® rib gives the wall market leading vertical and horizontal load strength and provides continuous support behind the internal liner, so the liner is not stretched or stressed the way it is in a standard corrugated wall. The result is a stronger tank and a longer lasting liner.

Water is stored inside the AQUALINER® Fresh tank liner, a food grade polyethylene and polypropylene membrane with Sanitized® silver based antimicrobial technology that inhibits mold, algae, and biofilm. The AQUALINER® Fresh tank liner utilized within Pioneer Water Tanks is NSF 61 certified for drinking water storage, and it is certified PFAS free, BPA free, and phthalate free. Each XLR tank ships as a complete kit and carries a 20 year warranty when installed by a Pioneer Authorized Installer on an appropriate foundation. The XLR series is intended for non permitted projects; for permitted or engineered projects, ask our team about the Pioneer XLE engineered series.
