Product Description

The 4000 gallon Peabody ProChem PLUS DCS Dual Containment Base Tank Set is the base set for a ProChem PLUS dual containment system: the primary tank and its containment shell, supplied with the parts that make the pair work together. Centering posts, two secondary vents, an overflow, a containment drain and lifting lugs are all included.

Measuring 119" diameter x 126" high, this ProChem PLUS DCS Dual Containment Base Tank Set holds 4000 gallons.

MATERIAL OPTIONS

Value-Pak packages are offered with the natural-color Linear Polyethylene (LPE) 1.5 SG and 1.9 SG tanks.

• Welded double-wall tank with interstitial supports and a vented twist lid
• Top discharge with dip tube
• Fill connection and a 2" electronic level connection
• Mushroom vents on the containment tank
• Welded primary-to-secondary overflow pipe assembly
• Secondary containment drain connection, plugged
• PVC/EPDM bulkhead fittings, 2" standard size

Everything in Silver except the PVC/EPDM bulkhead fittings, plus:

• Welded polyethylene couplings in place of the bulkhead fittings, threaded or flanged, 2" standard size
• PVC/EPDM truck fill connection mounted on the tank sidewall at 42 in high, with a PVC/EPDM ball valve, check valve, PVC drop line, polypropylene quick coupler, cap and lanyard
• Lifting lugs
• RF-capacitance leak detection sensor in the secondary tank, in a 1" FNPT coupling, ready for a remote controller or leak alarm (sold separately)

Platinum — Part No.: 293-35890

Everything in Gold except the top discharge with dip tube, plus:

• Standard inverse level gauge
• Bottom sidewall dual containment drain connection with a side access box and visual inspection port (flooded suction with a 1" or 2" stainless steel flex hose) in place of the top discharge
• OSHA-compliant, corrosion-resistant fiberglass access ladder with its mounting hardware

Chemical suitability depends on your specific chemical, its concentration and its temperature, and is the buyer's responsibility to verify before ordering. The specific gravity rating states the heaviest liquid the wall is designed to hold — a 1.5 wall up to about 12.5 lb per gallon, a 1.9 wall up to about 16 lb per gallon.

These are vented, atmospheric storage tanks. Not for pressurized or vacuum service.
