Pillow Tank Fabric and Fittings
Fabric: Collapsible tanks are made using top grade materials and are built to match the particular liquid you intend to store. Collapsible tanks storing drinking water are made to FDA and NSF 61 standards to ensure that your potable water is safe for consumption.
Contact Time: When choosing a drinking water pillow tank, different fabrics can be used to meet your specific requirements. Tanks will typically be offered with a contact time within the range of 1 to 7 years. It should be noted that the contact time is rated by the fabric chosen to make your tank for weathering or chemical processes. This has no bearing on the longevity of the reservoir.
Fittings: Standard fittings for our pillow tanks are a 2" bulkhead with cap and nipple. Adapters may be added to the accessories to match hoses and other water sources. Larger size fittings are additionally available upon request, so please ask!
