The ATI AUX42RG is a 42 gallon diamond plate aluminum gasoline auxiliary fuel tank with fuel pickup and return fittings built in. It meets the necessary DOT requirements for gasoline auxiliary tanks. No installation kit is included; ATI's FNA1.0 fill neck adapter and hose and clamp kit are available separately for connecting the tank to your fuel system.
.125" HD aluminum construction with rollover and vent protection and internal baffles. Weld inspected, pressure tested, and clean inside and out.

Gasoline tanks need an inline fuel pump
Federal rules require gasoline to be drawn from the top of the tank, so a gasoline auxiliary tank cannot gravity feed the way a diesel tank does. You will need a small inline fuel pump with a toggle switch in the cab. It mounts to the truck frame and is not included with the tank.
In use, you flip the switch when your main tank gets down to about a quarter, then switch it off once the main tank fills.

This product is covered by a 1 year limited manufacturer warranty from Aluminum Tank Industries, Inc. against defects in materials and workmanship. If an item is found to be defective upon inspection, Aluminum Tank Industries will determine whether to repair or replace it.
