Drum Containment
Engineered Drum Containment Systems
Spill Pallets, Decks & Hard Tops for 55-Gallon Drums
Keep oils, fuels and hazardous liquids under control with drum containment systems sized to your real storage needs. Our spill pallets, low-profile decks and covered hard tops help keep 55-gallon drums off the floor, out of walkways and inside compliant secondary containment. Whether you’re upgrading one storage area or standardizing drum containment across multiple sites, we’ll match the right system to your layout, container counts and SPCC requirements.
Not Sure Which Drum Containment to Pick?
If you’re between a few pallet or deck models, send us your drum count and a quick sketch of your storage area. We’ll help you narrow it down to a few practical options.

Start by counting drums in each area. That makes it easier to choose the right pallets or decks and meet your containment volume.
Types of Drum Containment
Use these groups to narrow down the right UltraTech drum containment for your facility. Each section can display a product carousel or grid so you can compare models and add them to your cart right on this page.
Spill Pallets for Drums
Rugged containment pallets that hold one or more drums on a grated deck above a built-in sump. Ideal for permanent drum storage areas where you need clear forklift access and defined drum positions.
- 1–4 drum capacities and nestable designs
- Polyethylene construction for broad chemical compatibility
- Many models are forklift rated for loaded handling
Use for primary drum storage areas, bulk oil and lube rooms, and day-tank support.
Spill Decks for Drums
Low-profile spill decks that can be used individually or connected to create large, modular drum containment platforms. Perfect when you need to walk or roll carts across the surface.
- Low 5–6" profile for easier drum handling
- Modular pieces that lock together around process equipment
- Available with optional bladder systems for extra sump volume
Use where drums need to be staged near equipment, mix stations or production lines.
Hard Top Drum Containment
Covered drum containment systems that combine a spill pallet base with a lockable, weather-resistant hard top. Designed for outdoor drum storage or locations where you need extra security.
- Protects drums from rain, snow and UV exposure
- Helps maintain spill capacity by keeping water out of the sump
- Roll-top or swing-door access for easy drum loading
Use for outdoor drum storage, remote yards and any area where unlocked drums are a concern.
Other Drum Containment Solutions
Specialty UltraTech products that round out your drum storage plan, including compact basins, ramp options and accessories that make containment easier to use day-to-day.
- Basins and trays for single drums or small footprints
- Ramps and handling accessories for safer drum loading
- Funnels and covers that reduce spills during dispensing
Use to fill in small or awkward spaces that standard pallets or decks don’t cover.
How to Choose the Right Drum Containment
Not sure whether you need pallets, decks or hard tops? Use this quick framework, then match products to your layout and regulations.
- Count your drums and container types. Note how many 55-gallon drums, smaller containers or mixed containers need containment in each area.
- Decide how people move around the area. If drums sit in a dedicated storage zone, spill pallets usually make the most sense. If carts and people need to cross the surface, look at low-profile spill decks.
- Confirm indoor vs. outdoor storage. For outdoor or washdown areas, choose hard top systems or models rated for weather exposure to avoid losing capacity to rainwater.
- Check SPCC and local requirements. Most plans call for containment volume at least equal to the largest container plus freeboard. Our team can help match UltraTech systems to your target gallons.
