hopper tanks Hopper tanks are constructed using a steel material and are designed to provide reliable above ground storage that is both economical and hassle-free. These hopper steel tanks contain a lower profile that allows for large capacity above ground storage.

These tanks are designed to provide a minimum of 110% secondary containment for above ground storage of motor fuels, biofuels, new/used oils, waste solvents and antifreeze. Hoppers are manufactured to UL-142 specifications and fabricated using hot-rolled carbon steel.

Standard Hopper Features:

  • Capacities: 120 - 3,000 gallons
  • Seam Inspections/5 psi Factory Air Test
  • Connections for Normal and Emergency Venting, Gauging, Filling, and Product Piping
  • 2" x 8" Vent Pipe with Mushroom Vent

Hopper Models:

These hoppers come in several different models to help store various liquids including waste oil, fuel, diesel, gasoline and more. Models include:

fire hopper tankFuel Hopper: Designed for storing fuel oil or diesel for emergency generators..

Petro-Hopper: Suitable for storing kerosene or gasoline/diesel for vehicle fueling applications.

Haz-Hopper: Engineered for the storage of waste oil or solvents.

Fire-Hopper: Specified in applications where a fire-protected tank is needed because of set-back limitations and/or regulatory insistence. The fire-hopper has a UL-2085 Label and an STI Standard 30-year Limited Warranty.
